Ouch.

First things first, I got my ink done.

Before:

After:

It's not quite finished yet, but you get the gist. I think I have about 3 more hours of shading to do (in a few weeks). Shhh...don't tell mom and dad ;)

This is the guy that did it's portfolio, personally I think he's freggin' amazing.

Yesterday was a pretty cool day too- Brenna and I toured the Frank Lloyd Wright houses (in Buffalo) with Gerald, the gaffer for Poultrygeist. If you ever have a chance to do so, take it. The houses are AMAZING. It's hard to explain but the natural flow of them is just...crazy. It's little things like, lower ceilings in-between rooms, that psychologically force you to hurry up and get into the other room. Cleverly hidden/placed stairwells going upstairs, because Wright believed no guest should be going up there anyways. If you were on one side of the house you could always see to the other side, there aren't doors. The ceilings seperating the rooms also weren't constructed straight to the ceiling, they stopped a few feet short, so every room was essentially the same room. The glass panels on the windows were absolutely gorgeous, the were stained glass that vaguely resembled natural formations. Really, really cool schtuff!!!

Later on after that was the Poultrygeist wrap party. It was all you would expect from a bunch of weirdos at a bar with a no-drink limit. It was sad to say goodbye to everyone, but it was a relief that the film is finally over. I was neat to finally get to shake everyone's hands and hug them, and just wish them good luck to whatever they're doing next. It was good times :)

Oh! Behind the bar there was a t.v. playing Troma movies, one of them had Hurley from the show "Lost" in it! He rocks.

Alright, I'm tired and hungry. I'll update more later! Piece...

Monday gonna take a ride on
The N train down to Coney Island
With the money I saved
Gonna get me engraved
Drink down a lot of Basil Hayden
Get kicked out when I can't see straight and
What an island to be on
Under the neon

Red dragon tattoo
Is just about on me
I got it for you
So now do you want me?
With nothing to prove
Will you be my honey?
oh yeah
In you I confide
Red dragon tattoo
I'm fit to be dyed
Am I fit to have you?

I hear the man say you want to see the others
A mermaid and a heart that says mother
But I don't know from maritime
And I never did hard time
I brought a .38 Special CD collection
Some bactine to prevent infection
And in case I get queasy
A photo of Easy Rider

Red dragon tattoo
Is just about on me
I got it for you
So now do you want me?
With nothing to prove
Will you be my honey?
oh yeah
In you I confide
Red dragon tattoo
I'm fit to be dyed
Am I fit to have you?

Now will you stop pretending I've never been born
Now I look a little more like that guy from KorN
If you came a little bit closer
You'd see it isn't painted on
Oh no no no

Red dragon tattoo
Is just about on me
I got it for you
So now do you want me?
With nothing to prove
Will you be my honey?
oh yeah
In you I confide
Red dragon tattoo
I'm fit to be dyed
Am I fit to have you?

In you I confide
Red dragon tattoo
I'm fit to be dyed
Am I fit to have you?

Wow. That's pretty cool... and huge! Phew! Man... you do know that's permanent, right? :-p The Frank Lloyd Wright homes sound very cool as well... I studied some of his stuff my senior year, his style was definitely intriguing. Oh, and I loved your entry about the Internet... man, did it bring back some memories... hearing about you needing to dial up to Juno (whatever that was!), yelling at people not to pick up the phone, and then Instant Messenger coming out, holy crap.... I remember having all these random conversations with people from Caz, and how awesome it was because you didn't know who each other was.... ...I remember one of the first times I went over to your house, you had the 486 laptop and we played something on it... what was it? I think you were showing me Duke Nukem or something... ...anyway. I read that entry and it just brought back a lot of stuff, and I thought it was very cool, all of it... accurate, what you said about the Internet and our generation, and... I dunno... it made me sad because, while I couldn't really empathize with you about your nervousness about school, I wish I could've done something..... ::sigh::... anyway. ...I miss you, Derek, and I wish I could've seen you this summer at some point, and now you're leaving so soon, it seems... I... when I was reading that one entry, I realized that the 486 that had liberated you from so much is most likely now in my possession (unless your dad had another 486, which I guess he might've) and I wondered if maybe you wanted it back, as a sort of momento. If so, just let me know, and we'll try and get together before you head out for the coast. ....anyway. Hope to talk to you later...

Nedre-

Hey man! I hope you see this comment, I've been waiting to see you online for a while! I just saw this Lego program that lets you design your own set, then you send it to them and they ship you the pieces you need to build it :) It seemed like something you'd appreciate.

Unfortunetly the 486 you have isn't the original, which was gray and had roughly a 6" lcd screen on it!

I was thinking maybe we could stop by (very briefly :( ) to see you on our first trip across the country, or maybe you could come to our Sept. 23rd going away party? That would be so cool :)

It's great to hear from you, I hope you're doing ok :) I better see you soon!
