Someone come to Japan with me...the rant?

I'm going to Japan at some point either during or at the end of summer.

After driving across the United States 4 times, flying across 22 times, driving from top to bottom of both coasts, and visiting 45 states (along with most of their biggest cities) I'm pretty tapped out on touring the States.

Obviously I still plan on making the occasional trips to see friends around the country, but I've decided that I need to start putting more effort towards seeing the rest of the world (I have a goal of visiting every developed/somewhat-developed country...it's a little lofty but I think I can do it).

I know no one is probably going to be up for doing anything like this. I expect to hear a lot of "I can't I have to work" or "I don't have the money" but I figured there might be one or two of you actually interested in trip #1: Japan.

I thought it'd be interesting to try and plan yearly trips with friends for a cruise, or travel to another country.
Who knows, maybe when I go broke after 2 countries it'll dawn on me I should just stick to the flights to NY (etc.), but it's gotta be worth a shot...
