Cold-Stone Sunset

I took the following update Brenna made in her LiveJournal crappy online journal community of crap crap.

woo! this update is coming from las vegas. good times. derek and i walked the strip last night (it even says "the strip" on the freeway signs) and it was fun. its a long walk! the coolest thing was in caesar's palace. it has a moving walkway and it takes you through a glow in the dark rome. so cool. and i saw lots of expensive stores. dolce and gabbana, dkny, escada, prada, gucci, versace, juicy couture, louis vuitton, i dont even remember them all. it was awesome. i saw some of them in beverly hills too. good times! i love materialism!

our stay in long beach was awesome, i love it there. so beautiful. we found a super rad appartment, maybe i'll put pix up. its 2 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from sha! its going to be sweet. the beach is kinda gross, but thats ok. we can just drive to a good one. the sun doesn't set over the ocean either, which is a tad dissapointing. its because we're on the south side of a pennensula. so our view is to the south. oh well! i still like it lots. it has a bunch of cute shops and neat things. the metro rail system is so simple and cheap! hopefully i can find a job near it. probably not though, because i want to work at a fabric store and there's not any near it. that i know of. derek and i have lots more exploring to do!! the cute shops are walking distance from home though. i really am planning on not using my car much. its broken again btw. grr. my favourite place in long beach is cold stone creamery. they have ice cream. the best damn ice cream. and they blend it right in front of you and put your choice of toppings in it. mmmmm. love.

so derek and i are chilling at my parents temp home. its a nasty room in budget suites. they move into their awesome home on friday, they are pumped. it has a pool and jacuzi. so great. derek and i are about to go swimming in the pool here. i like swimming.

so thats all for now. :) we'll be back in buffalo tomorrow, and do not forget our awesome party on friday!! be there or we'll have hurt feelings! hehe. it starts around 9 or so. there will be lots to drink, so wear your drinking shoes!!
